The Rangjung Foundation is committed to helping the community through the following 13 projects:

1) MONKS,NUNS,YOGIS,FOOD FUND PROJECT

To provide daily meal for over 500 individuals including monks in Rangjung Monastery, nuns in Thegchhog Kunzang Chhodon Nunnery and yogis in Brekha Monastery.

4) BUILDING FUND PROJECT

6) EDUCATIONAL FUND PROJECT

This fund covers the entire cost of the education of monks and nuns. It includes tuition fees and all expenses on educational materials such as computers, books, stationeries, etc. A number of qualified teachers will be employed due to the increasing number of monks and nuns.

7) ROBES FUND PROJECT

To provide robes for monks, nuns, old folks, retreatants and yogis. The items include blankets, mattresses and also lama dance costumes.

8) RITUAL FUND PROJECT

There are several expenditures required in conducting ritual activities such as the daily morning and evening puja, the annual puja, certain Buddhist auspicious occasions and special pujas which dedicating to country peace, world peace.

9) SCHOLARSHIPS FUND PROJECT

To award scholarships for students from poor families who are not able to further studies in colleges and univerities in India due to financial constraints. A computer course will also be offered in this fund.

10) PUBLICATION FUND PROJECT

Dharma books, sadhanas and thangkas will be published for the usage of the monasteries. Dharma books for free distribution (dharma dana) will be published as well.

11)KRODIKALI FUND PROJECT

A number of groups were formed in Bhutan by laymen who engaged in the practice of Krodikali (CHOED). These groups are all under the umbrella of Rangjung Monastery. Each group is trying to build its own practice hall with its own substantial expenditures and donations. The lay practioners assemble together on holy days to practice CHOED for merit accumulation and purification, organizing rituals praying for a healthy earth and a wealthy nation. Besides, these groups also organize annual Krodikali Grand Puja in Bodhgaya, a four days event with almost 10,000 Choed practitioners, praying for a world of peace.

12) FUND RESERVED PROJECT

We are attempting to bring in a lump sum of US $ 600,000 as a fixed deposit investment in bank or company with the purpose of ensuring the interest received can be used for emergency. In the event of Foundation could not run smoothly in future, interest received from thi s lump sum will at least provide regular daily meal to the monks, nuns, yogis, retreatants and the old folks.

13) MERITS FUND PROJECT

This is a very distinctive project which caters to everyone. It requires only a minimum amount of donation. At the sametime, one acquires great oppertunity to become the sponsor of Rangjung Foundation, sharing the aspiration of propagating Dudjom lineage through Rangjung Monastery, Thegchhog Kunzang Chhodon Nunnery, Brekha Monastery and retreat centers. Intrinsically, one is able to receive blessing from the monks, nuns and yogis.
